Hello, I dont know if you remember me but we talked about a month ago when my band was inflated to much and I had to go back to Magee and have them take fluid off? I have another question that ou might be able to answer. I just had my band tightened again to just below 7 c.c yesterday. When I came home I had no problem eaing some yogurt and I also had a can of cream of vegetable,today I can drink liquids but at a very slow rate. Doe's it have anything to do with inflammation??

I Just had a fill yesterday to just below 7 c.c, after it I was able to have a can of creamof broc+cheese and a yogurt. Today I can drink but only a small amount at a time and sometimes I feel as though it wants to come back up. Why was I able to drink and eat yesterday and not today? Is it inflammation?, should I wait to call the Dr after a couple days?, will this stop? HELP!! Thanks:mellow:

I can BARELY drink liquids after my 3rd fill, is this normal???

I just went to the Dr. yesterday and had my third fill to almost 8c.c. By the time I got to the car I was already vomiting up the spit I was unable to swallow. It has been done now for over 24 hours and I have only consumed about 12 ounces of water. Is this normal or should I call the Dr??? Thanks!!!!:smile2: -

Thanks for the replies, I actually ended up going to pittsburgh late lastnight to Magee Womens hospital and the on-call surgeon toke out 4 c.c. I felt soooo much better. It was getting to the point where I was barely able to swallow my saliva and I halso had heartburn. My daughter and I went to Kings and I had a huge salad!!! I wasen't quite sure why he took out 4 c.c b/c the Dr had only put in 1 1/2 c.c when I was there on Friday but at that point I diden't care. It took my band from 8c.c to 4c.c. I have another Dr's appt on Aug 23rd so im sure she willl adjust it as need be. I got home about 230 am but I felt alot better. This is very nice to know that this web=page is out there, im very glad I found it, and thanks again for commenting it made me feel alot better. I will post some updates soon. THANKS!!!!!:smile2: -
