I have been overweight most of my life, even since grade school. I was made fun of and called Fat by other kids. I have tried dieting, and had some success, but have gained back all the weight I ever lost and then some. It has been easier for me to be on a diet and stay on a diet, when I can afford it. But when money has been an issue, is when it is the most difficult. All the "good" foods cost more then the "bad" ones, and that has been a problem as well. I have been thinking about having the Lap Band done, for a few years now, and I am finally making some forward progress in that. I am now actively looking for a surgeon, and a way to finance the surgery. Because I live within an hour's drive of Tijuana, and because of the cost differences, I am seriously considering going to Tijuana for my surgery. This is where I am at today. Research, research, research.
