Anyone know of Dr De Bruyne Chris
Nat1977 replied to susanlondon's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
Thanks everyone. I do feel less pain this morning and had about 14 hours sleep last night lol, must have needed it. I was able to sleep on my side helped by lots of pillows which helped, as i hate sleeping on my back. The one thing I will say is I wish someone had warned me about the drain, it was like a long snake coming out lol. Good luck to everyone getting banded soon. xx -

Well I am all done Back at the hotel now and fly home tomorrow. Still quite sore and have pains in my chest, but I think thats trapped wind cos it keeps gugling lol. Hopefully I wont be so sore tomorrow. all I want to do at the moment is sleep! Have been drinking water and tried a coffee, but it tasted disgusting with sweetner instead of sugar, so I will give that a miss for a while. Am going to have a cup a soup later. Nat x -

Well I am here at the hotel. Am going to try and take pictures and film as much as possible and upload it to youtube. Getting picked up tomorrow morning at 6.45 to go hosp. I have been feeling really nervous all week, but as soon as I got on the plane, i realised I was more scared of flying on my own than I was of the op. I am as cool as a cuecumber now lol. I will try and post tomorrow or thurs. xx -

Hi, I have been reading through all the pages for over a week now and have just plucked up th courage to post. I am booked with Dr Chris for the 4th August, so just over a week to go now. All the information on here has been really helpful, like what to take, what to eat before and the fact that nearly everyone thinks that they will be the only one it won't work for lol. So I just wanted to really say a big thatnks to everyone who has taken the time to post advice. Just one question really, I am going to Belgium on my own, as other half can't get the time off work, I have a pretty high pain threashold and am planning to drive to airport and leave the car there to drive back home after, does anyone think this will be a problem?
