Hi, I had another fill on Thurs, and can immediately feel the difference! With al the other fills, I was starving 24 hours after. This time I can really feel it, so hopefully I can shift the last of this damn weight -

Thanks Juliesquirral, i think i will get a small fill at the end of the month when i get paid, i need to take Dr Chris my Xray disc anyway. Hi big daddy,I have now put 8lb back on since xmas, i am finding it sooooo hard to get out of my old habits, it doesnt help that i work from home, the fridge and cupboards are just to close lol. I think perhaps a small fill will get me back on track, its just having the time and the money to get one, i am in Milton keynes, so my closest fill is London, which means a whole day off, and i also have a little one in nursey, so its just hard fitting it all in -

Ohhh, where do I start.... I am really really peed off with myself! I have some restriction, but I am creeping back into old eating habits, chocolate and crisps seem to go down too easily, so this is all I seem to live on, that with a fish pie most nights. But then some days, I am able to eat a sandwich and crisps for lunch??!! I am really dissapointed in myself I stopped losing weight before christmas, and have actually managed to put a couple of lbs on too. I had my xray done, and the radiogropher said it all looked good, and that it looked like i shouldnt have any more fills. I havent been to see Dr Chris yet with the copy of the xray, as I havent had the time or money:( I am hoping to go in a few weeks, and get a small fill to hopefully give me a kick up the bum and get this weight shifted, i only want to lose another 28 lb, and I want it gone before summer. This journey has taken me a lot loner than i imagined, the girl i was in hosptal with has already got to target weight before christmas and looks great, we were the same weight when we started Sorry for moaning. -

Does anyone know where in London, Herts, Beds, Bucks or Northants I can get the barium xray? Everywhere I have found requires a doctors referal. Also, how much is it roughly? Dr Chris said I couldnt get any more fills until I got the xray done -

Okay, I think I spoke too soon, I most definitely have restriction now, must have been a delayed reaction lol. Claire, I am currently in the process of moving house, so we will have to put our meet on hold for a few weeks if that is okay? Pehaps if anyone else is in the Northampton/Bucks area they might like to join us? x -

Just wondering how much everyone has in their band? I went for my fifth fill last Thursday bringing me up to 7.35ml. He tried to get 7.5 in but it wouldn't let him. Does that mean I can't have any more fills now? I still don't think I have got full restriction as I was just able to eat a whole microwave cottage pie, although I am now full, so I do have some restriction, but I expected more by now, what does anyone think? -

Is that Salcey Forest in Northampton? I only live 2 miles away from there lol I have now lost 4 stone since last August, not as much as I would have liked, but I have fallen into the trap of the liquid fat ie starbucks coffee with cream and bars of chocolate. I have had 4 fills and have modest restriction and am hoping to have the money to have one more at the end of this month in London. -

Had my second fill done in London last Thursday by Fred, so now have 5 ml. Cant say it feels any different except food and drink now 'gurgles' when it is going down lol. I am like a few on here in that all my weight lost so far was in the first couple of weeks after surgery and I have only lost 2lb over the last month, so feeling a bit dissapointed, but was ready for this happening as I know from reading on here that it has also happened to quite a few others. I have always had it in my mind not to expect anything until at least my third fill, which I have booked for 25th November in London. -

OMG, I can completely sympathise with you. I have just got back from a 2 week tour of europe in a motorhome 10 days after being banded. All that fresh bread in France was a nightmare lol (did manage one pain au chocolate though, it took me all day to eat it mind you lol) I found the wine went down a treat too A lot of places served omlets, so I ate a few of them, but one night I ordered steak and potatoes, chewed like crazy, but it had to com back up. -

Hi, I am 9 days post op, but am feeling hungry quite a lot. It doesnt take much to fill me up, but tonight I was especially hungry and I really felt like I needed something of substance, so I had the middle of a very well done jacket potato mashed up with tuna and mayo and it went down fine. Now I am really surprised by this as I fully expected to be bringing it back up, but I ate half a bowl full and felt absoulutley fine. To be honest, I could have probably eaten a bit more but I was too scared to. Has anyone else felt hungry and ate near normal food this soon after op, or am I the only one in the world this op isn't going to work for? On the up side, I did lose 8lb the first week after op :wink2: -
