I am just beginning my Lap-Band journey. I was just approved for Medicaid -Health Plus here in NYC and hope that this will be the beginning of something permanent and life-changing. I have a beautiful 22 month old son and I would like to be around to see him grow into a man, get married and have a family of his own. I have been overweight for most of my life and I believe it is time for me to take initiative and change my life for good. I am hopefully going to start law school in the next couple of years and was previously an aspiring plus size model. My goals are to continue to do the things I love but to love the skin I'm in and be a more health conscious and aware person. I want to improve my food relationship.
