1 year out from surgery. Had problems from the beginning with protein, After alot of throwing up found out the air was not taKen out of my band day of surgery. I was constricted on day 1 along with swelling and  normal pain ffrom actual surgery. Was frustrated that I was in pain for first whole month but got over it as I started to loose weight. Never got fluid in band till 6 months out. Lost 50 lbs in first 8 months. Normal pains and aches and what I thought was normal food sortation with occasional throwing up. Started throwing up more freqently, had fluid taken out of band(was told it was a flu bug) returned to be refilled in 6 weeks( never lost another pound) but felt better from 50 lb lost and started excersing and felt that the throwing up was a price I had to pay to lower blood pressure and get the use of my knees back. Well 2 weeks ago, had  a terrible attack of throwing up unrelentlessly with terrible terrible pain under my ribs toward the left side of my chest and left back pain.Went back to Dr. took fluid back out amd Had upper Gi- was told today there didn't seem to be any slippage. Pain is excrushiating......even worse than the actually surgery....Feels like there is a knife in my port site inside my ribs, breathing is difficult and should a sneeze happen Im near passing out from the pain. Walking seems to ease pain minimually but not much better. I spend alot of time at a computer and the pain seems to push into my diaphram and puts pain and pressure in my chest. Please someone help me! Let me know that Im not crazy. I feel like my doctor thinks I'm making this up... What do I do next?
