I could feel my band for a few weeks after surgery. It was horrible! It felt like someone had stuck their hand in my chest and was squeezing my stomach. Luckily, I am 8 weeks post op now and no longer can feel it. Maybe its positioned badly? -
Stomach upset is it related to Lapband procedure

Margaret I don't know if its band related but if I were you I would definately get a check up at the doctors. You never know what it could be. -
Well I had my appt with Dr Dolan and am booked in for surgery on the 18th October at Joondalup. Cant wait:thumbup:

Hi suzie! im doing alright... just struggling to find time to get some REAL food into me... busy with tafe and work im finding myself living off tuna and protein shakes!!!
i was banded on the 24/06 so just over a month... ive lost 9.5 kgs so far... Dr Stephen Watson was my surgeon but Dr Bowater does my fills. any other questions... let me know

Hi Suzie! I cant believe you read the entire thing! I am doing great - still have my struggles - I can (sometimes) wear clothes in regular sizes - which is my REAL goal - so I feel pretty good about myself - I don't think I will EVER be skinny, but Im happier now than I have ever been - and healthier. Would do it again in a heart beat. Please keep me updated as to your surgery - would love to follow your success!

hi Suzie would love to be friends I'm all new to this my operation is this Thursday at Joondalup Hospital so very excited hate the 2 week optifast stuff though its hard not touching other foods you cant eat but still cooking for the family well will talk to you soon drop me a line when your free

Wow, all you guys are amazing!!! I cannot even imagine eating so little and not being obsessed with when I was going to eat next! -
