I have known a lot of people who have been very successful with Lapband surgery and I am seriously considering it.  I am 44 years old and have three children 11, 9 and 5.  I already have high blood pressure and I have arthritis from the time I was a kid.  My weight gain began after getting married and starting a stressful job.  It continued into my three pregnancies and the weight has been so difficult to come off and I am really tired of being overweight.  I am looking at having hip replacement and knee replacement surgery and the orthopedic wants me to loose weight.  It is so hard to move with the arthritis to loose weight and my energy levels are so low.  I am hoping if I have the surgery the weight lose will help with the high blood pressure, pain, energy and ability to move.  So we will see how it goes.  Right now I woke up this morning feeling that this should be done.
