I don;t understand what's going on, if OUR stomach's are the size of eggs, how come we can eat more than the egg.....?????? I seem to be eating more than what I am suppose to.... Am I going to do harm to my Band.. Any ideas or suggestions...... ????

Thank You Shirley advice to me,,,,,, I know have a better understanding of what to expect.... I just think in the mushy stages and liquid it seems can tolerate a lot...... talk to you ,,,,Ronna

OKAY OKAY... So I am on a 64 Oz liquid diet with three pureed PROTEIN meals a day, I feel myself not full and eating more than the normal... Is this bad? I graze the refrigerator and seem to think about food all the time..... Any suggestions! ????

Day eight started my mushy stage of food, it just seems i eat alot of mushy food.........I thought i had restriction.....I don"t get it...... When did you get banded? I am just starting but what stage of the diet plan are you in? I am struggling with clear liquids ready to move to full liquids so i guess i am confused on why you would be eating so much or in what stage?

Why is that......... Why do we have to wait a half hour to start drinking after we eat.... IDK this all confusing me..... I had life Cereal this morning and I was fine... I thought I was to be full after two bites..... HELP Ok. It's bad but if you get back on track it will be ok. However if you continue to graze you will probably not lose weight the way you want. Being hungry will always make you think about food but once you are past purée you may find that the solid Proteins will satisfy you more. Come on Ronna! You can do this. When you are hungry in between meals try drinking some Crystal Light. You can't eat for at least a half hour after that... I use that rule to help police myself very often.

I am nine days post op and ate a chopped salad it was good and no problems so far!!

No, I am not suppose to but I pured it and it was fine!!!!! Like a soup....LOL Is salad on your post-op diet this early out?

I had so far CIB (carnation instant breakfast-sugar free) waited an hour and had four ounces of fat free cottage cheese lunch, We are going for Sushi, put I will have Tuna Tower it's pured and a miso Soup, I am Ten days post op and pured foods are allowed!!!

I really hope that doesnt happen to me............... .

Well mine is painful........who knows maybe cause it's been nine days..............

I am a week Banded today and for the last two days I have had the MOST severe Port and left side neck pain ever... I don't know what it is... HELP... I went to the ER and everything is fine..... Hope is goes away soon!!!!!!!!!!
