    Lower BMI'ers--2008!!!

Hi Denise! Hi everybody! Denise, are you at goal??? That is so great! I have not been on for a while. How did you get to the perfect fill level? I have not enough fill, but do not feel like I can take more. I pb when I am premenstrual. I am about 15 pounds from my goal. How is everyone doing?
  4. Hey!

That is soooo funny! It works though, huh?

I am doing good. How are you doing?

  5. Hey Audrey! I was trying to explain your Petho position to my sister the other day!! How are you?

    Lower BMI'ers--2008!!!

Sorry guys! I have been away for a while. I am doing well. I have not had a fill in a long time since I pb, and get stuck for 2 weeks out of the month.. But, it is not enough to lose. How are you all doing?
  7. I didn't have swelling after my drains. Are you wearing your body girdle? I had to wear mine day and night for 6 weeks. It made a big difference. Also, your breasts will drop and look more natural, but that takes quite a few months.

    First Fill

It varies greatly. I have a 4cc band and my first fill was 1.5 I think if I remember correctly. It takes a few fills to really get good restriction for most of us.

    I need help...........

I was like that too and it really stalled my weight loss efforts. I started drinking mango tea which I love. Some things that I really find help curb my sweet tooth are raisins and almonds or a spoonful of peanut butter. I finally kicked that bad habit! I was eating ice cream everyday!

    Lower BMI'ers--2008!!!

I hope I gained muscle too! I have been weight training for 3 months. I have been feeling so tight! I can't eat in the AM, can eat little for lunch and dinner, but if I have one bite too much, I get stuck, slime and pb. Did my fill decide to kick in 6 months after I got it? I feel tight, like I did in the very beginning. I am losing weight though, so I guess I shouldn't complain. The patches are ones I sell besides the QuickSlim30 pills. I have been taking both and didn't know if it was a coincidence that I am tight now.

    Anyone here?

I have been pbing everyday. Did my fill decide to kick in after 6 months or something? I feel so tight. I can't eat in the morning, can eat at lunch and dinner but if I eat one more bite than I should, I get stuck, slime and pb. Has this happened to anyone else?

To all of you SLOW LOSERS!!

I remember how much I used to HATE hearing that it would take 'at least' a year to lose some serious weight, especially if you are a lower bmi like me. But our bodies are all so different. I had learned also that our bodies have a setpoint from the years of dieting and likes to hover around a weight that we have kept for longer periods of time. It is like a body memory somehow. It is hard to break out of. But if you can maintain a weight, within 5 pounds for 3 to 6 months, you re set the setpoint. I learned that doing Lindora which is a medically supervised weight loss program. I lost, gained and lost, gained all the 6 times I did Lindora. At least I learned some things!!

    i think i am ready

I actually didn't tell anyone. Only my mom who went with me and my husband. Of course, nosy family members found out. You kinda have to feel people out. I didnt' want any negative imput since I had made my decision. Some people just do not understand and I didn't want to hear them trying to discourage me. I guess it depends on your personality type. I don't like conflict and didn't want to have to keep on explaining why, why, why. I had a tummy tuck about 4 years ago and people hounded me over it.
