I was banded on june 8th. I am having the same symptons as you are having. It must be something about the two month mark. I need to go in and have a fill. I can not go for two weekes because i am going away and do not want any trouble while i am on vacation. I too am very concerned about slippage. But the symptoms you are having are not from slippage. I have been told by my doc and other people that have it. That you would not be able to eat anything if it slips. You get sick and can not keep food down. So good luck

I WAS BANDED ON JUNE 8 2010. I HAVE LOST 50 POUNDS AND FEELING GOOD. I CAN NOT SAY IT IS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE. IF I COULD GO BACK AND DO IT AGAIN. I PROBABLE WOULD. THERE ARE SOME THINGS YOU HAVE TO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION. LOOK AT EVERYTHING AND MAKE UP YOUR OWN MIND. DON'T LISTEN TO OTHER PEOPLE.

THAT SOUNDS TERRIBLE. I AM SORRY THIS IS HAPPENING TO YOU. I HAD MY SURGERY ON JUNE8TH. I WAS ON CLEAR LIQUID FOR 10 DAYS AND THEN I ADDED YOGURT AND SOME CREAM SOUPS FOR ANOTHER TEN DAYS. I CAN NOT BELEIVE YOUR DOC SAID YOU COULD HAVE CEREAL. THAT SOUNDS CRAZY TO ME. YOUR STOMACH NEEDS TIME TO HEAL.

OK I SAW YOUR ONLY 8 DAYS POST OP. YOU NEED TO GIVE YOUR STOMACH TIME TO HEAL.

I AM ABOUT 6 WEEKS POST OP AND I STILL FEEL SOME DISCOMFORT AT MY PORT SITE. HOW FAR OUT ARE YOU?

HI, I had my band placed on June 8th. I was very scared about the operation but I have to say it was very easy. I went to sleep at 8:25 and I woke up in recovery at 10:05. I had no pain. I was very cold but they gave me alot of blankets and that passed. The first week was very tough for me. I was very tired and I was having some emotional issues. every day gets better. I am down 46 pounds and feeling good. Good Luck to you

I HAD MY SURGERY JUNE 8TH. THE BAND IS WORKING FINE. I HAVE LOST 46 POUNDS ALONG WITH MY PRE OP WEIGHT LOSS OF 12 POUNDS. I AM HAVING A PROBLEM AND I AM HOPING SOMEONE OUT THERE CAN HELP ME WITH THIS BECAUSE THE PEOPLE AT THE WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM I GO TO ARE ACTING LIKE I AM CRAZY. I CAN FEEL MY BAND AND ALONG WITH IT I AM HAVING DISCOMFORT IN MY BACK. RIGHT BEHIND WERE THE BAND IS. THEY CHECKED FOR PLACEMENT AND IT IS FINE. THEY TELL ME TO GIVE IT TIME AND I MAY STILL HAVE SWELLING OR SOMETHING. BUT THIS IS MORE THAN THAT AND IT IS NOT GAS. HAS ANY ONE OUT THERE HAD A PROBLEM WITH FEELING THERE BAND AND HAVING BACK PAIN? PLEASE LET ME KNOW....
