    Old/New to site Need Help!

Well I say you did the best thing you could which is by knowing you need to do something, and joining a gym. I say cut out a bunch of motivational sayings and put them up all through out the house and put up a goal dress or pants or something that you want to fit into. Up your protein and add some fiber into it. You can do it take it day at a time or hour by hour whatever it takes if you fall off the wagon then get back on. everyone makes mistakes so don't be afraid of that. I hope when I have my surgery I will do as good as you!
  11. I know how you feel, my hubby is a SSG in the army and he is about to head to korea for a year then we will be headed for texas..He isn't going to be here when I have surgery. It is hard when they are away, but you got to find stuff today and just think man you are going to europe next year just imagine what you are going to look like and even more important what you will feel like. I wish you all the best and I will keep your son in my prayer for a safe return.
  12. Well i think it is crappy that person you know is willing to talk.. I have not had it yet but I can tell this site is pretty awsome, check out the nutrition part and write some ideas down.
  13. yea i know the requirements that is listed but you also have to qualify with the interqual something or other is what the dr office said.. but i weight pretty much the same that you did actually a little more and the same height so.... who knows i guess i have a chance . ty

  14. Hi there! No Tricare did not require a 6 month diet at all. You can find their requirements online but basically to qualify you either have to be 200% you ideal weight for your height(so pretty much double what you should weigh) OR 100 lbs overweight WITH comorbitidies related to your weight...like diabetes or arthritis or sleep apnea. I qualified due to being 200% the ideal weight. At 5'2" for a small frame I should have weight 110-115, but I weighed 235 which is just over 200%.

I hope that helps you. People seemed to get really confused about Tricare's requirements sometimes.
