thats good ! well i must be honest after speaking to others on the forum i did call briget then she accepted to pay the hotel, she said it was a one off as her and frederick dose have different offers! but the best things is to contact frederick ask him about the taxi as well try to get everything included! or ask briget your money back. because the taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost you around 70 euros and the same thing to go back! gudluck!!

we have to keep encouraging all new comers to go direct Frederick said thats the way he wants it now!! i booked through Briget paying around 4150 euros but that was just for the surgery i had to pay everything else from the taxi to the hotel, to the airport which cost 55euros the hotel 164 euros. well if i had gone direct everything would have been included! Dr Chris is well known now i don't think he should use any third party anymore.

freckle i thought u were one of Dr Chris patient who didnt go worked out the first time thats y u had to be rebanded!

good luck lemma you going to be ok. just a word of caution don't leave any money in your hotel room as my husband money got stolen £260 and it was that fat man in the reception!! but you will be OK its worth every penny!

Freckle were you banded with Dr Chris as well? I mean your first time?

hi phooh are you traveling by eurostar? if so the taxi to the airport is quite expensive maybe around 50 euros or more but you get a train there which will take you to vilvoordre and the hotel is 5 min walk from the station.if you are travelling by eurostar you don't have to pay for the train its free!

Hi everybody, hope you all doing well! wannabe so when can you have the next fill? i am due for my first fill next thursday! i can't wait to lose another stone i ahve lost 1 stone and that has made such a big difference!

by the way can anybody tell me if they were weighed by the nurse or frederick in belgium before the opp. As i wasn't i weighed myself before i went to belgium so how will they know when i go for my fill that i have lost weight or not?

Hi everybody, was so tired last week didn't have the strength to post anything. Well MD we all in the same boat i don't think we going to lose anything untill we have a fill. I was banded on the 13/8/10 and have lost about 14lbs and not loosing anymore despite that i am on a proper balanced diet and eatting little.My 1st fill is on the 23/09/10 in london i am so exicted at least if i lose another stone i will be happy. lucky you freckles, i know how it would fill to fit in a size 16 !! well good luck with your daughter have you spoken to frederick about her weight and bmi 25 sounds normal to me but best to them before you go.

I am feeling a bit depress now!! as i am not losing any weight even though i don't eat a lot and eating a healthy diet.I am going to book for my first fill but I am not too sure if that's gong to make any difference!

going on third week post opp and my weight loss has stopped!!

its almost two weeks after my opp I must say I feel much better, I am back on my normal routine and I'm able to drive again. i really needed that rest I have one more week off then start work on 6th sep. Thanks everybody for your kind wishes, I have lost about 17lbs but I was not eating at all for the first week.Now I can think of fills and book one for next month. Despite The bad experience I had I feel that was the right choice to have this band. Good luck to everybody banded or being banded.

thanks wannabe I'm feeling much better now! still spending a lot of time in bed I'm 6 days post opp,guess have to give it bit more time.

I'm hardly eating anything can only take about 2 spoonful of soup i can't drink my shake at all. I know its going to be OK. I'm just one of those who take a bit longer to recover.

thanks everybody, I'm still feeling very low this morning had to call Frederick this morning had a bit of temperature last night so got an appointment this afternoon with my GP.

hi, I am so glad that i am back home!! had the worst time of my life. I was banded on 13th Aug, I was surprise as i did not feel much pain after the surgery, on Saturday when they took the drain it was very painful i couldn't walk at all,i had to be wheeled down to the x ray and was unable to walk due to the pain near my belly button it wasn't really my port ! I was then discharged by Dr Chris, went to the hotel by 2pm then Frederick came to see me around 7pm. from 11 pm i started vomiting but my stomach was empty it was so bad had to call a taxi and back to the hospital, i was readmitted they told me i had a bad reaction from the band. i couldn't sleep all night it was terrible i thought i was going to die. Dr Chris has already gone on holiday since Saturday but he did called to see how i was doing. well i made it home thanks to my husband he looked after me just like i was a child. i still have lots of pain on my port side,but i'm feeling better today.

well here i am in the hotel lounge,people are very friendly here. Just spoke to frederick he cannot see me today so i have to be there in the hospital by 7am. I am very nervouse but i am going out with my hubby to see if we can find a restaurant.Thanks everyone for your support.
