Hiya, i was sleeved on friday, and my main problem from day one was my lower back pain on my right side plus its swollen and rock hard, has anyone else had this experience, i do know when my surgeon operated he postioned me more on my right side because i have left hip problems... -

I was operated almost vertical therefore all my weight was resting on my lower back......as i have a hip problem on my left hip.... i was positioned to take my majority of my weight on my right side to avoid causing more pain on my left hip. sounds complicated but thats how my surgeon explained it to me..i have deep bruising thats why it feels hard. -

UPDATE : MY DOCTOR HAS BEEN ROUND HE SAID IT WAS SWELLING DUE TO EXTREME PRESSURE DURING THE OPERATION AND SHOULD GO AWAY WITHIN 3 WEEKS... NOTHING TOO SERIOUS.. I SPOKE TO MY SURGEON YESTERDAY HE THOUGHT THE SAME... THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENTS AND HELP -

Thank you Dee, my swelling is there with no colour its just hard... im sure it will go away. -
Thank you Kelly and wishes. I'm still in hospital, I feel the anaesthetic is wearing off now. Just started my regime liquids for the next 4 weeks then I will be able to have mushies then hopefully onto normal food

Hiya im having surgery on Friday, cause im 363lbs im worried about the op.. i see u had simular weight too, was your operation ok ? i know its a silly question but im very nervous

hi thank you for your message of encouragement, i am 364 lbs and have alot of weight to lose, my op is on 10th june, im from the UK and having my operation here too. I am very emotional at the moment and worry im not going pull through this being so large, but then i think what would my life be not having this WLS, im eternally grateful that we have fantastic surgeons in this world to help us.

Hi Guys good luck on your surgery, i have mine on Friday and im freekin out too, my emotions are bad, i get angry with my kids and crying alot. I really want this operation, i know i must be strong.. hope to hear from you all again soon -
