Went through all the lab-work and dietitian visits etc... almost 2 yrs before surgery. I had another surgeon and once the ins denied me he dropped me (after I had a surgery date scheduled and everything). I have MS and they (neuro, pcp, etc...) thought I had to get the weight off in case a wheelchair was in the near future. Went to a new surgeon in August, had to renew just a couple of the labs, pre-op was on November 25th, lapband surg was Dec 14th. I am about 27lbs from my pre-op weight, and 64lbs from my highest.
