I didn't like the taste of that stuff either. I didn't have to drink the whole bottle. Check with your Dr. and see if they have something else available.

Krp2010: I feel the same. My Dr. gave me a liquid medication to take. It taste's awful but works. I had my surgery on Friday and Friday night so far has been the best I have felt. I just feel awful beside's my stomach hurting. So I am on liquids for anther two weeks. I feel so hungry. Thats hurts too.

I am in a little pain and very uncomfortable. I can't sleep and its about 4 a.m. I have gas and can't get rid of it. Yesterday, the day after surgery I felt pretty good until last night. So after reading all of this sites, I must be normal. I will be glad when the next week goes by.

To all of you who replied to my first post. Thank You. The Dr. give me some medicine whichs seems to work fine. The Dr. and nurses were all wonderful. Care was 1st class.

dm5201: Thank you for your answer: Yes, all Dr's requiremtns are different. I had my surgery yesterday and came home last night. It went very well and my stomach is very sore this morning. I am on now all liquids which include potein drinks, v-8 and tomato soup for two weeks. I lost about 20 lbs on the pre-surgery diet. (cheated once) So now I am within 60 lbs of my goal. -

I getting done next friday and was wondering how you felt when you woke up from surgery. I saw my Dr. yesterday and he has done about 900 of these. -

I am scheduled for surgery on Sept 10 and have noticed a small infection on my little toe. I beleived I cut my toenail to short and I started soaking it in hot water. Did anyone have their surgery rescheduled to something like this? I see my Doctor next week and will let him know.

I am on skim milk and crystal light for two weeks. I wish I could have a protein shake. I lost 9 pounds the first three days. These two weeks are the toughest. I have surgery on Sept 10. My goal is 225 pounds and my current weight is 289. Highest has been 308.
