out of pocket fees with insurance
mrspetendanbury replied to heylinda's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have Cigna insurance here in Connecticut. I had to see the psych (3), the nutr(6) and other appointments to see if I may have sleep apnea and was anything wrong with my heart. I have co pays at all of those. Each time it was $24. The day of surgery my co-pay to be admitted for surgery was $350. I have Aflac insurance as well, so I am getting some money back for the hospital stay. -
Wow, you look great! Keep up the good work :-)

pro's / con's to being honest about having surgery
mrspetendanbury replied to newmefeb8's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I feel the exact same way. I am not hiding the fact that I am having this surgery, because I know that I have exhausted all other resources to losing weight. I am more ashamed of losing the weight and gaining it back over the years of me trying to defeat the bulge. I am scheduled for surgery on Janurary 31. I am excited that this tool will help me get my life back. -

Do you regret surgery and miss eating bigger meals?
mrspetendanbury replied to sweetlover's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am glad that you shared your experience about the quantity of food you cn now eat. I ma so looking forward to that! I find it reallty interesting that you can now "taste" how bad the foods you used to eat. -
You sound like me. I didnt have a reduction, but I wouldnt mind if the "gilrls" were to go down. I am more scared of my bottom going some where!
