    Greek Yogurt

    I have been saying from the beginning, yogurt is the best, protein and snack there is bar non. My snack every night is fruit (berries) yogurt. that is my reward for being a good boy all day.

  5. I took it and yes you do loose weight. no hunger no food loose weight. Simple, stop taking it hunger back weight back. Don't recommend
  6. I shed a tear when I heard the news. I was a big fan, and admired the work he did, felt we lost a great talent and a great man. he inspired the troops when he went to Iraq. God Bless You and hope your demons are gone.
  7. 2much this is starting to sound like sat. When the guy tried to bash everyone here. So I ate a hamburger but I still lost weight. Lol
  8. I can say I eat normal, protein first and about 5 oz of meat then two bites of veg. , then that's it. I can say it kind of starts out as a burp which says slow down and prepare to stop.if I don't stop then there is a chance for stuck and we know we don't want that feeling.stomach memory is in important. You will get use to it. Good luck

  10. 2911 , I have the same issue. Your candy addiction is like me, but mine is yogurt and granola . I have it every night . I don't skip a day. That is my reward I give myself for doing well all day. You have to give yourself a reward. Your doing great first few days are hard, I avoid scale watching unless I go to my weekly doctors office, and monthly support group..

    My NSV - Missed my window!

    Funny topic, I went away for two weeks on vacation and brought my skinny shorts I owned. well bringing up the bags to our room my shorts ended down by my ankles. I have never needed a belt so now all my shorts fall off. I now have to shop for new shorts this week.

  13. did anyone address the fact that you have 10.5 cc in a 14 or 15 cc pouch???? that is a lot of restriction. did the doctor check to see if it all in there??? I have 5 cc and its green for me . I went back on the diet plan after gaining some back . read the 8 golden rules on you-tube video by dr. Obrien. Learned what to do and what not to do. you want start today...Good luck...
  14. Never did I think going on vacation for two weeks, and loss weight. Well for those who are wondering, it can happen. As I stated earlier I am back on track after a rough 3 years of not knowing what I was doing with the lap-band. I went away to California, and to Vegas, for 15 days. I made a goal to exercise 45 min every day, and watch what I ate. I did have a couple of sweets , small bites, and a little carbs (hot roll). I never weighed myself when i was away. I wanted the news to come to me in the doctors office where i weigh-in once a week. I LOST 10 Pounds... I did it, not afraid of trips anymore. This is a big point in my weight loss, i am 17 pounds away from my lowest weight with this lap-band back in 2010. thank you all for this, i read a lot of people stories and it makes me feel like a family cheering me on. Good Luck to all of Us...

    Chicken noodle soup

    Nick , the noodles and chicken is strained out... Good rule I use is treat it as soup and not drink. This will help later when after every spoon full you put it down. I have learned when fork goes down in between bites I fill quicker and chew more. Good luck

    exercise time of day

    Never too early for me, but one question. I am very tight after working out, it takes two hours after before i can even get food down, does anyone else have this problem....

  18. The fills are not that much in fla , don't know your status . The best way to start is a support group n the doctors group. They will work with you. Mine did, I went to meeting they do once a month and showed I was serious and the doctor took me. Since you made a commitment to yourself, they will see that, and want to help. Good-luck

  20. I have posted in the past that I too suffered from same issue lost in 2010 80 pounds and then gained back 60.., I woke up and figured my doctor sucked the first time. Found a new doctor , went on u-tube and looked up 8 golden rules by doctor obrien . Helped me understand what the band does and how important follow-up doctor visits are to get the best results. Keep in there Green Zone is the goal
  21. Want everyone to know you can restart again if you have a fall. My band was put in 4 years ago and after loosing 80 I put 50 back on slowly. Found new doctor who taught me how this thing works, I am green and loving it. I am as excited as the day I first started. I have list 28 pounds in 28 days. Feel great and new, and not hungry. This site has also kept me motivated, thank you all and we will all be in the green together..

  24. Congrats to the new beginning. Update I have been on vacation and everyday I exercise 45 min a day and still loosing, problem is my pants are falling off and I have no belt.. Never needed them before.
