I think it's safe to say we're all kind of scared - but we're doing this! We're taking that first step into the rest of our lives! We all love food, and that's a good thing to love food. We have all come to realize though that this tool will help us to enjoy food in a healthier and better way!

Hey Everyone! I'm a July bandster too - July 13th! I've been on my liquid diet now for 73 hours and 5 minutes... It's not killing me or anything, just sayin' I'm anxious to hear all the stories, the progress - everything!! Let's do this!

The first few days were rough, but after that its all up hill from there! Almost back to normal. The port site is still tender, but getting a little better! Keep n touch and let me know how everything goes for you!

Hey Lisa, just thought about you and wanted to see how you were doing. Have you gotten banded yet? I recieved mine on the 17th of September.. Definately an experience. Hope to hear from you soon!

A good deal of the seminar was insurance related, but the Surgeon spoke about the process, what is required pre-op, what to expect post op.. and went into great detail about the Lap Band and the RNY.
