I attended a seminar in late April 2010 and for the last two months I was able to schedule and finalize all my appointments with the following doctors and had the following tests: cardiologist, pulmonologist, endocrinologist, nutritionist, psychologist, gall bladder ultrasound, and endoscopy. I met with my surgeon last week who penciled me in to have surgery the 14th pending approval from my insurance company. My surgeon has not placed me on any pre-op liquid diet except for 24hrs prior to surgery. I am excited but at the same time I'm a bit nervous. I have a week to prepare for my surgery and with all the exams and tests I've had in the last 2 months, I am feeling a bit overwhelmed. I have only chosen to tell 5 people about the surgery so it limits who I can talk to. I made an appointment with a psychologist who I plan to see on an ongoing basis post surgery. I look forward to being a member of this forum and sharing my journey. Thank you for taking the time to read this post.
