Going in for sugery in less then 48 hours. So excited but so scared. Not scared of the surgery but of losing food. Isn't that crazy? Have been on this journey for 3 years. Was approved for the surgery 2 years ago but was talked out of it. My doctor at the time but me on adipex. It worked, for the most part. I lost 60 lbs and hit the wall. Then I begin to gain it back. Gained 20 and said that was far enough. I know I need help. I have been the "fat kid" my entire life. I remember when I was 12 I was wearing a tight size 16. I've had enough. My daughter is going to turn 5 in a month. I want to be there for her. I want to run and jump and play. Right now I can't do those things. I hate it so much. In 2 days I will begin my second life...my true life.
