I got a fill yesterday and have had the hiccups ever since. Have anyone ever felt like that. I wonder if it will go down once the swelling has went down.

HI everyone I go to my first appointment after my surgery on the 22nd. My doctor stated that he may or may not give me a fill. I was kinded of fluster by this considering i don't have anything in my band currently and i will be 4 weeks out. Can anyone tell me when they knew they needed a fill. I'm going to push for one anyway. -

Renee, I was on post op for one week of just liquids and protein up until the day before surgery when I could only have liquids. -

Hang in there we will get through this. I went to my pcp yesterday and had my blood work ran and she ordered a chest xray so i'm just waiting for the results. Yesterday I was able to start with the cream products. The only problem I was literally at both doctors appointment all day so i had not drunk or eaten anything by 4pm. So went I got home i made me some very creamy grits and I ate about 4 ozs. After that I was so full i didn't intake anything else. i know I got to do better

Hi All had my surger 10/19/10. Everything went well I ended up staying over night and released yesterday. I had to be at the hospital at 7:45AM and was taking to the operating room at 9:25AM woke up in recovery about 12 noon. I walked around alot to move the gas. Today I'm still bloated with some discomfort around the port area with gas. I do have some pain in my left chest area. The pain meds do seem to be working. I will continue to push through. -
@dooney I'm getting banded on the 19th which is our special day. The preop diet was a struggle for me last night i was dizzy and shaky but I just reminded myself how worth it this is. Keep up the good work we can do it!

Did anyone get dizzy and shaky during preop diet? Today is my third day on the pre op diet.

@jennaj221 Your right about the slight part it's very convient I wear the high power but I never have a hard time getting mine up. -
I was just wondering if anyone was able to wear their spanx after surgery. My spanx have become such a part of me, I wear them everyday. I was just wondering if anyone had problems with them after the surgery?

Well Last night was a struggle especially when I was preparing the kids dinner. Today I followed the same plan I had yesterday and so far so good. I've been so busy today so it wasn't so bad. Now when I get home my struggle will began. Well only 5 more days!

they are very comfortable and breathable. I wear mine everyday. So this will be an intersting new chapter in my life. I first heard about them on oprah a couple of years ago -
It's hard but you just have to dust yourself off and keep trying. I struggle at home to especially when I'm preparing dinner for the kids.

Today I started my 7 day pre-op diet. I must say that I was a little nervous. I wondered how I would tolerate the supplements. Today I had a banana protein shake by bariatric advantage that wasn't bad for breakfast. For lunch I'm sipping on a whey protein shot mixed with some water and very little crystal lite to bear the taste. For dinner I will have broth, jello and water with special k protein mix to get my 60 protein in for the day. It was shaky at lunch because someone in my group had chicken and I wanted to smack them. (joking) We will see how the day continues, I'm constantly reminding myself how excited I will be to look back at this in a couple of weeks to see my progress.:cursing:
