Be patient.Try to stick with a diet like you were on with the band filled.Im glad you quit smoking.No breads and soda pops and heavy fat foods.Eat as clean as you can.No candy -

Does your doctor know when he or she will fill it again?Normally if the band slips and they remove the liquid.They wait to let the band settle in again.Then they start the whole fill process again -

Did you weigh yourself and see the numbers?If you did and it depressed you.Lets look at the whole picture.Do you look alot slimmer now than you did before the band?Do your friends still think you look good?Can you fit into your clothes? -
So the lapband is just as successful at diminishing diabetes?My friend had the roux n y done.just to get off of diabetes meds.I have never had diabetes.Im banded

Feel free to ask me questions.Ill tell you this.After going through the surgery.i felt it was a piece of cake.ive had no complications.I don't always follow my fill schedule or my diet.The remarkable thing about the band.Is you can always restart your diet.Anytime. -

Wants wrong with using egg beater brand eggs.Rather using regular eggs?You get more protein out of the egg beaters and less fat and cholesterol

I guess I should be proud of my doctor.Barker Bariatrics in Dallas.So far its been two years and no complications so far.knock on wood.ive read a lot stories about band erosions and infections from it.I even read about a forum on self fill questions.Thats scary -
