Hi. My name is Maria. Almost 7 years ago I was weighing over 302 lbs. and climbing. I hated myself and well you guys. I was HUGE. I got the lapband. I lost so much weight. A year later I got pregnat. And I was still loosing weight during my pregnancy in a HEALTHY way! The Dr.'s in Albuquerque had me HIGH RISK but I WAS NOT HIGH RISK at all. Well my band has since slipped. I'm not working anymore and I gained 71 lbs back and man. I have no insurance and have no idea how much this procedure to have my band back up and running fixed. If anybody can let me know. I will post pictures. you guys will trip. I'm like 2 different people. I was the first person in southern california to have to lap band done as an outpatient. I was even interviewed by martha wallers in KTLA. My Dr. Shyam Dahiya was great. I was in and out. But I lived so far. Albuquerque to L.A. was just not happening. Now I'm in San Diego and wish I could afford a reajustment. I was tryiing to reach Dr. Lopez in Tijuana after all he was the one that trained Dr. Dahiya in my surgery and was there during my surgery I just don't know how to reach him... Any ideas Peeps? Well I'm devistated. My weight and BMI is sky high. I want to be a size 9 again. Somebody help!
