  4. Well, its been 3 weeks since I was banded and I thought this was as good of time as any for my first post. Thank god I'm almost to my mushy food stage... These last 3 weeks have been pure hell. After reading a lot of the user post on here, it seems that many people cheat on there post op diets and few actually take it all the way. It hasnt been easy and its definitely the hardest thing I've ever done. I've had to endure temptation, emotional break downs, horrible pains from the gases, terrible sleep, fights with my wife, feeling extremely weak, fevers, depression, and the sense of feeling crippled because I cant jump around and wrestle with my 2 boys! It's been hard, but I've weathered the storm. I've lost 28 lbs. in 3 weeks and I'm starting to look and feel great. I learned my lesson this past Saturday as I didn't do my research on Beer!! I drank 3 Michelob Ultra beers straight out of the bottle!!! Talk about hellacious stomach pains! I don't think I'll ever drink beer ever again after that! I guess I never knew how difficult this was really going to be, I didn't know I would be tested this much, but I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Anyone struggling to get through this, struggling to stay on your diet, or struggling emotionally & mentally, just remember this is for your health... for your family and for yourself. Be strong, and good luck to everybody enduring all of this. It only get easier and better from here out!
