beckiet--glad you're better and had no complications....I had my port revision a while back, but I was put under--very lightly. When I came out--I felt like I had just been asleep. Hope all continues to go well for you.

O2B--when you mail Suzzies---mail me some too!!!! LOL--they look GREAT!!!! Your quilts are awesome...Ihave some of my grandmother's quilts. She would do the tops and then take them to the country and have her sisters put the backing on them. I love looking at them because they all contain bits of various dresses that she use to wear. (Back then the quilts weren't as pretty with fabulous designs)

That's a compliment. some people just don't know how to give a compliment without commentary. Because he hadn't see you in a month, and you've lost quite a bit of weight (it's always more obvious to others) he assumed that you had "surgical intervention" as Star Jones put it.... If he hasn't known you to have a history of working out...he made an assumption that surgery was the cause of the weight loss. Gastric is a more common form of WLS--so it''s always the first things people think of.

O2B--You look GREAT!!!! I am so glad that you posted...seems as though your spirits are lifted once again..you seemed so down during your restriction difficulties...glad to SEE you back!!! I put my pix using an attachment and they came in small...how did you get yours so large?

Iwas wearing an 18W suite--and thought I'll try on a regular 18....IT FIT...but that's not the end--the saleslady said--you really need a 16--I tried it on---IT FIT!!! SO SUNDAY, I DUG BACK IN THE CLOSET AND FOUND A SIZE 16 SUIT TO WEAR TO CHURCH----I LOOKED GOOD!!!! When I started this journey I was up to a size 22!!!!

Well...the moment has arrived....I'm celebrating my 6 month bandivesary about 3 hours early!!! I think I've done pretty well. The numbers on the scale aren't moving as fast...but the change in body size looks good!!!

My soft spot was a runny nose and a sneeze...but that was when I was too tight. I had a slight unfeel and now I don't have the "trigger".... I have started eating Carb Conscious Supreme Protein Bars...they are DEE LISH US!!! They are big, so I eat 1/2 for breakfast with an Activia yogurt and 1/2 for lunch...they are 300 calories and 4g sugar--so rather than a snack--it's a meal replacement for me...If you like chocolate and carmel..this is the one for YOU!!!!

I agree with most of the comments about switching accents when with different audiences. I do take offense to labeling speech as "white" and "black"....I am still waiting on someone to define "talking white" and "talking black"

babygirl--I think that you are correct, we all switch according to our audiences. My question, again, is what is "talking white", "blacking it up"... Let's be clear--white and black are colors. Many may not want to admit it, but from these statements one can infer that "white is correct" and "black is incorrect" If I am mistaken, please give me an accurate definition of the two phrases. I have been wrong before
