  4. b- chocolate Peanut Butter Protein shake s- Land o'lakes cheese snack and 5 whole wheat crackers with hummus l-soul food : 1tablespoon of blackeyed peas; 2 tablespoons of pinto Beans 1/3 piece of cornbread, 2 tablespoons of greens; 2 tablespoons of cabbage, medium size piece of meatloaf, 3 bites of smothered steak (YUM)--- 48 oz of crystal light (so far) ***probably won't eat anything else...I'm stuffed--will just continue drinking crystal light.

    Stef--with you eating so little....will you continue to work out as hard as you do? Will you body lose weight doing this? Just asking...I'm debating whether or not to go and get a "topper"

    I use EAS vanilla protein....yes I am addicted to Crystal Light...so it can be used!!!! Let me know how you do on the plateau breaker

    Hummus spread????

    I've seen a couple of post where people are eating hummus spread because it's high in protein. What is hummas and do you eat it alone, with crackers, as a sandwich or what????????

    SUZZIE AND STEF---OMG...OMG...OMG!!! I went and purchased some silk light chocolate soy (it pours like water...but taste like "good")...I made a pb chocolate protein shake (I had vanilla protein powder)...it is good..good...good!!!!!

    Couch to 5K Anyone want to start with me ?

    I am so glad to have my C25K family. Today was week 3 day 2 and I DID NOT FEEL LIKE RUNNING. I decided to go to the gym and had talked myself into just doing the eliptical--pick up the program again later. Once I arrived at the gym, I figured that I might as well do the program. So I just decided to run a little slower. It worked--as I finished the program--all that I could think of was wdaddy's encouragement....I could just think---I can't wait to tell my C25K family--that I pushed through. Thanks for all of your encouragment. It's good to have someone to be accountable to....

    Hummus spread????

    I purchased some from Eatzi's and am eating it with whole wheat crackers from Central Market. I really want to eat it with chips---but I have to refrain from chips--they go through my band extremely WELL--I will eat the entire bag--if I bring them in the house--they call my name!!!!

  20. Nureamy--YOU LOOK MAR-VA-LOUS!!!! I was wondering about your belly button too---it looks deep but I'm sure that's just because of the swelling. I can't wait until the swelling is down and you share your "super-model" pix!!!

    liza--Look at ivyrose's posts and click on the words Complete Protein Hummas. It will take you directly to the link. I tried some and it taste pretty good. I did a little research and found that it's high FAT--as well as--protein....so I'll eat it sparingly

    African American Bandsters?

    Here's what someone shared with me......I didn't do it for the full time, but I still lost--it's not a gimmick--just doing what is right. I followed this for 7 days and lost 6 lbs, hope it helps! Do this for 10 days to break a plateau #1 - Drink 2 quarts of Water a day #2 - You must have 45 grams of Protein supplement and all your vitamins/minerals supplements each day #3 - You may consume up to 3 oz of high protein foods, 5x a day beef pork chicken turkey lamb fish eggs low fat cheese cottage cheese plain yogurt Peanut Butter beans/legumes You may also have: sugar free popsicles tea or coffee sugar free soda sugar free Jello broths/bullion crystal light drinks #4 - If it's not on the list, you can't have it for 10 days!!!! #5 - Keep a food diary and try to get up to 30 mins of exercise daily

    Stef--your version is the same as Suzzie's except you use water instead of milk--I haven't tried any protein shakes with water--I always use milk. I've recently started using soy milk
