The friggin' scale is NOT my friend!!!! Can't break the plateau---Is there a 1 in my future...will I ever see 199????????????????????????? I've been eating properly--exercising--doing the Couch Potato to 5K training 3 times a week--and no movement!! URGH!!!! I had an appt for a fill on 26th of this month...God is good--I called today to see if there had been any cancellations--so I am going in this Wed--I think I'll say "fill 'er up!!!" I guess I'm being anxious------ just needed to vent!!!! Thanks for reading

Destiny---you are eating so little...are you hungry in between meals? Do you eat a snack? How much water are you consuming? What type of exercise--if any are you doing?

Suddenly I have become interested in the Couch to 5K training program!!! Why I don't know...but is anyone doing it on a treadmill? If so, could you please give me the incline and speed at which you walk/run? Thanks

Sue---the recipe is EEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZ!!!! You go to the store and puchase Campbells Gold label--butternut squash!!! I can cook---but nothing that fancy!!! I really enjoy all of the Campbell's gold label soups. It may be called Campbell's select instead of gold label--however the label is gold. ( I buy the ones in the box)

Georgia--thanks for the quiche recipe....I am going to try it with egg beaters. That's a great suggestion to put them in muffin pans. I have a muffin pan that I purchased from Pampered Check that makes tiny muffins. I might try using it--so that I could make a bunch and freeze them.

I don't know. I run for endurance and not speed. You may just have to time it yourself and set goals to beat your own time.

Stef---I echo Karla--you are the greatest at giving vital info. Here's my questions: How much protein can the body absorb at one time. I've heard various amounts. Wondering if you drink the entire shake at one time (since it has 50g of protein). I'm going to look into biotin--for my hair. I think that I read about it on another thread. Karla--glad to see you back!!!! Keep posting--even if it's just to say hi...Like you, I look at LBT several times a day--just to read and see what my "friends" are talking about. Congrats on 1derland

b- protein shake l-can of chicken broth d-chocolate/peanutbutter protein shake 48 oz of crystal light I've eaten so badly the last 2 days--figured I might ought to try liquids for 2 days to balance out---afraid to get on scale. Don't know if it will work, but I'll try Does anyone have a recipe for a crustless quiche? I want to try something different for breakfast. Georgia--did you detox work? Have you lost any more weight?

Kevin--I've tried Jenny Craig and the meals were tasty to me!! I live alone so the portions were just right. However, they were quite expensive. I have learned to prepare small meals. You might want to try using Ziploc seal and steam bags. Throw in one piece of mean and a few veggies with seasonging and you have an instant meal. You might also want to consider repackaging when buying meat. When you purchase meat with several servings---try seasoning it and putting it in individual freezer bags. It's ready when you are. When I go out, I split a dinner with a friend--save me money and I don't waste the food. I have been blessed to have a friendly band--THERE IS NOTHING that I can't eat. So I really must be careful with portion control. Good luck with your business. p.s.---I've been on spring break and didn't log any foods...will start over gain tomorrow.

Grace--CONGRATS--CONGRATS---CONGRATS I am 5'5" and I carry my weight well. I weigh much more than what I look like. Currently I'm in a size 16W and people are telling me that's enough--because they have seen where I have come from. Because I carry my weight well--I have decided not to be concerned with a "goal weight"--the numbers. HAHAHAHA!!! (I'm trying to convience myself anyway!!!)---I really want to be a size 10/12. Since I've never been a size 10 or 12, I don't know what the numbers are. I've decided to judge enough weight loss by the size of my clothes.

Welcome to bandville!!! luluc---good for you 5K at any speed is GREAT....the time won't matter to me--right now (LOL)----If I can finish the 9 week program---let me rephrase that WHEN I complete th program and can run 3 miles---I won't care how long it will take me....it will be a MAJOR--AND I DO MEAN MAJOR--- accomplishment!!! kudos to you!!! wombat--keep up the good work everone is doing great!!! -

Karey--sounds like your "friend" is jealous. I would suggest that you invite her over and pour your heart out to her, just like you did to us. Remind her of how you were there for her. If she doesn't respond in love then know that the dynamics of the friendship/relationship have changed. She can still be your friend, just not your "best friend". I don't know if you are a Christian, but the Bible says that a friend loves at all times. That means that they are happy when you're happy, sad when you're sad etc. You two have a history and you can't throw that away. Talk to her openly and honestly and let the chips fall where they may. We all have different types of friends. Some require that we do most of the work to maintain the relationship, while others it is mutual give and take. By all means, have the talk BEFORE the shower, so that you will both know where you stand with each other. If after the shower, she feels uncomfortable giving it--then LET HER BE THE ONE TO BACK OUT. Don't you cancel it. Peace and much love to you. Continue to rest your body and your mind. -
Alysonn--I love it--you qualify your foods with "tiny" and "small"---keep up the good work!!! Georgia--do you work out? You seem to eat so little--if you work out---how is it affecting your weight loss...are you getting enough food?

wombat!!!! CONGRATS..CONGRATS..CONRATS What do you meanthat you were "negating calorie burn from workout?" does this mean that you were eating back the calories that you've just burned? I always eat dinner after my workout...protein and a veggie. I nornally work out after 6:00 p.m.--should I eat, workout and then eat nothing else? -

I don't take B-12 shots--I take a flinstone vitamin--when I can remember...I take naps everyday...and sit around and gt my rest..when I need it. However, since losing some weight, I notice that I naturally have more energy...I park farther away without thinking, I'm walking quicker etc. p.s.---my t
