  4. Hello- I was banded June 18th. I'm starting to eat more regular non mushy food. The "no drinking" rule is difficult. I am having the hardest time following this : ( I can go the entire meal without drinking. The problem is immediately after. I know i need to wait 30 min correct? Any best practices out there? Thank you!
  5. I have seen a little difference but not enough to buy new clothes yet. I'm trying really hard to hold out. I feel like I need to write down what I eat or do a better job paying attention. I eat till i'm full and I also measure. But the evenings are the worst. I feel like im not satisfied. I'm craving sweets....not good. I told myself I would by my first pair of premium denim jeans...when I can actually fit into a size they make lol.
  6. I know me too. Its funny i have to really think about what kind of portions im putting on my plate. It always seems like not enough. But then i start to feel full. Have you started working out? I am trying to walk 30 min 5 times a week. I just started monday lol so i will let you know how it goes : ) What's your first clothing purchase you want to buy?
  7. Wow that's awesome! I have lost 9 lbs. but i am slowly going into real food. My post op is today and i have my first fill on july 22nd. Have you had your first fill yet? do you feel a difference? I feel hungry now and i really have to think if im full or if i can keep going... Great to connect! Talk to you soon!

  9. I was banded on June 18. I weighed myself today and I was down 8lbs. I'm getting my appetite back and starting on mushies so I feel like I will gain that all back. I want to make sure I'm on track. I feel like all I can think about is food and my next protein shake. I don't get my fill for another 3 weeks, and I want to ensure I see some progress. Any suggestions for a newbie?:ohmy:
