i really like the fact they have consultations in the uk and someone based here you can talk to on the phone. when i first contacted europe surgery they where really helpful and thats why i booked with them. a lot of surgeons abroad have no aftercare and its really hard to get hold of them afterwards, thats why chris is go good because you can see him or fred afterwards in the uk,fern looks really good now i can see why she kept the whole thing quiet at first. it must be hard being in the pubic eye all the time.

i agree with this the risks are really so low on the operation with dr chris that it makes no sense not doing the operation.its far more important to get your weight down for your health . The operation has changed my life.:smile2:

Its really easy going to beligum for the band. you have the consultation the night before surgery in brussels . The next morning you are in the hosipital having all your blood tests then the afternoon you have the op. that night you share a room with others its a room for three. then your back in the hotel for a night and back home the next moring. The its just a matter of seeing him in the uk from then on. bridget's always on the phone to talk to for help if you book though europesurgery

But kids are mad engery things running round all day.not like us. I really have to stop eating with them. the summer is the worst all those icecreams and cakes

hi new guys chris de bruyne is a really good surgeon, i am so pleased i went with him. He has done more gastic band operations than any other surgeon in europe. When i went it was all really professional and the hospital is very clean and modern. most of the nurses spoke English, chris and fredrick speak brillant english, though chris speaks quite fast. You are really well looked after when you get there:smile:.

hi tiger i booked with bridget as well she is really helpful even after the surgery you can call her up and ask her questions. if you call her she might be able to tell you who else is going when you are. its the same money with her anyway she just a sec for chris. I would not take much money with you. most things you can pay on a card. I don't know maybe 100 euros? the good thing about euros is if you don't use then i just keep them for the next time i am on holiday.

hi lemma, hope your starting to feel better. I think the first 10 days you should be on liquids only. so i had slim fast shakes and lots of soup without lumps in it. do you think you could get someone to go to the shops for you and get a load in. Thats what i did. oh yes a yogurt drinks bridget said they were good too, you know the ones with the good bacteria in them. I think things like slimfast and is it herballife are good, because they have vitamins in them...thats what i was working on taking loads of vitamins. i think the aftercare dates are on a thursday but i think you only have to go about 4 times the first year so i am just taking the day off work for them.

bridget really nice just give her a call whenever your worried about anything. I have nearly lost a stone:rolleyes:cool isn't it? i was thinking maybe the first 6 weeks is the easist to loss the weight in a way because you only have liquid for the first 10 days and then i have found i can only eat a small amount. I have not had a fill yet and i am starting to find i can get more. so thinking i should go for one soon!
  22. juliesquirral

    Dr Christian De Bruyne

yes i agree with his bridget is employed by fredrick to work in the uk. She has been excellent help. its really hard to get hold of fredrick he does not answer emails and is operating and i guess thats why they have europesurgery and have employed bridget to help them. tulia is another fish:mad:she really is not helpful and is a total pain she is just after money and to be frank a posh old bag!!I did contact her first but why contact someone in france when you can contact someone in the uk. anyway all is going good for me how are you getting on? its been nearly a month since my surgery and i am starting to lose weight. I am so gald i did it

hello, i went last week it was excellent care and would recommend chris to anyone. they all make you feel in safe hand. chris and fredrick speak brillant english (fredrick is the senior nurse) i agree i was only under for about 15 minutes and felt fine afterwards. The campanile is fine the rooms are quite small but clean and tidy.
