I'm super new to the whole blog thing. I am a single mom and in Nov 2009 I decided to go forward with bariatric surgery. After having my son, I ballooned and never went back down. Not sure how I was able to diet and NOT lose weight with as much as I now have to lose, but it's been approx 5 years and I have never been able to get below 300lbs. I'm looking forward to seeing my weight in the 200's again and eventually in the 100's again. I didnt have lots of issues with other health problems, but I developed sleep apnea. I look forward to losing that machine, as a single mom, I would eventually like to date again and I view the cpap as the anti-man magnet! My first few days post-op have been rough. Lots of gas. It's in my neck. I havent taken pain meds except for Tylenol. The incisions are tender but not painful. The most pain is the gas. I have lost 7lbs in the past 4 days. Woot!
