My husband calls me a wine-tart LOL! Update on LJM, her DH says the epidural is in and she is having significant contractions - that was a few hours ago, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were in the thick of it now! So exciting!

I also get them at the health food store, where you get vitamins/nuts/organic foods etc

Wow Fanny thats fab about you and your man (and the house). You know, my husband and I moved in together the moment we met in person. I think there are a lot of people out there that don't have people in their lives they feel like they can reach out to--if writing a secret on a postcard is cathartic, then so be it. Mac, I could have written this post about my husband and I! Sometimes he says that he feels like he has gained the 100 pounds I've lost. I don't push him at all. I KNOW how that feels. A person has to be ready to make the changes by themselves and for themselves. He's been making comments lately that he wants to start exercising and losing weight and its only when he mentions it that I engage in a conversation about it with him. And all of that aside, I love and am attracted to my husband as much (if not more!) that I did when we first met irrespective of how much he weighs now or how much hair he has lost since then :wink2:

Chickie, I'm sorry you had to deal with those people. There really are some horrible horrible people out there. Do you have something like allclassifieds.com.au up there? You can put up free ads for stuff (or pay a little (I think its like $14 or something) if you want to put up a pic). Maybe you'd have better luck with something like that? In the mean time, give this idiot a negative rating and report him as a did not pay!!! Also....is the weekend over already? I am SO not ready to go back to work tomorrow

I'm starting to wonder if all of my neighbours are deaf. At least once every couple of weeks, one of them will play crap music RIDICULOUSLY loud....disrepectfully loud late at night. I go and knock on the door to ask them to turn it down and they always just seem to be at home, alone and drunk and/or stoned. There are 3 of them that seem to take turns. Or maybe I'm just an old fuddy duddy spoil sport. But darnit, its after 11pm and I need my sleep.

Fanny remember where I live.... it gets coldcoldcold and hothothot by my standards....but its not so bad really...... Today will probably be the hottest day this year. You know what shits me though? I DID do everything right post op. I didn't "cheat", I was scared out of my wits of eating the wrong thing too soon. I was hungry as hell but obeyed my Dr's instructions to the word. But, 18ish months later, I still had a minor slip from being filled a little too tight. Wasn't anything I ate or did myself my Dr said, but had I not listened to my body and tried to endure it might have ended in me losing my band. I had a fluoro and it was "only slight" so we caught it in enough time to just unfill and let things resettle for a couple of weeks. Then I was right as rain and have been since! These monkeys that are eating burgers and freaking jumbo jets a week out of surgery I bet never have a problem. Its murphys law against me or something.....Grrrrr. I haven't been a 100% perfect bandster (I love chocolate and wine too much for that), but I think I've done ok being my Dr's most successful case..... END RANT Happy Wednesday!

I have stupidly long hair right now, its about 2/3 down my back. I've never had it this long before and my friends actually call me Repunzel LOL. I think it makes my still round face look less round too....I love it! A friend of mine shaved her head for fundraising for a cancer charity....she looked hotter with a buzz cut than she does WITH hair...and guys loved it for some reason! Too tight is bad. Just get a teensy bit out and you'll feel brand new again, trust me!

Paranoia is welcome here fortunately :cursing: On the talk of slips...they don't necessarily mean that you will lose your band if you don't try to persevere with it and actually listen to your body. My band slipped a little last year and I was completely unfilled after a night of vomiting in the ER (I couldn't even keep water down). I gained a little weight (15-20 pounds), but once I got my fill back to a normal level (I slipped because I was overfilled--I was fine though for 4 months with that fill level and then BAM! couldn't keep a thing down, it was very strange), it dropped straight off in a matter of weeks. I guess the moral of the story is, manage with as little fill as you can while you are still losing....then you're likely to not have to deal with the PITA that a slip is. Just my (experienced) 2 cents Is it Friday yet?

I think it'd take me every meal for a week to eat a foot long sub these days! LOL!
