I am going to a seminar for lap band in a week. I am really nervous about it because I have heard of people getting really sick. I don't want to be sick, but I need to lose weight. I have back problems and my family has a history of heart disease and diabetes. I know that if I lose the weight I will feel better and prevent a lot of health problems in the future. Please tell me about why people get sick and throw up. I want to do this, but I don't want to stay sick either. My family is afraid of me doing this too. Please help.
