Hi, I am a (54) yearold married female, who just puts on more weight year after year. I have a had enough. I have neck and back injuries with major back, neck and leg pain. I am also a nana with a 2.10 yearold grandson who I can't keep up with. I can read with him and watch his favorite shows, but I cant get up and play with him. I can hardly walk anymore, have to use the Grocery store electirc carts (which are quite embarrising). I want to be thin again and am so looking forward to my surger. Unfortanatley I have medicare and have to have 6 months documented weight loss. I started March 31 at 268 pounds. I am tonight 255, and losing. I have learned a new life style of nutrition and go to support groups. I am seeing Dr Ziad Hanna for all my pre-op and post-op needs. Dr Barry Sanchez will be doing my surgery hopefully in September. I feel good to have lost the weight I have and look SO FORWARD TO LOSING MORE. I have a problem with my esophagas that will prevent me from having the lapband, (I cried when I found out) so I am now looking into the other methods of barriac surgery.... This is my story and I am sticking to it...
