I began my lap-band surgery journey after seeing the success my mother had with the procedure. It improved her quality of life extensively, as it allowed her to control her diabetes and become more active. She is happy, healthy and optimistic about her future, as I am now, after receiving approval. I am excited to make this important life change, as I now have so many more years to look forward to living healthy,
