I've been overweight my entire life and finally got to the point where I realized nothing was going to change unless I took some initiative and made that first step to change it. I know it won't be an easy journey at times, and I can usually hear a bit of doubt saying I won't be able to lose the weight, or that I'll never be as thin as I'd like to be...but then I ask myself "why not?" and it's enough to reassure me that I can do it if I just take things one day at a time.
