Just a curiosity, I have had the band on 7 months. 2 months ago my brother died suddenly of a heart attack at age 49, and my great niece died at birth 2 weeks before. Needless to say I was stressed. I have been throwing up all solid food since the beginning of May. I have an upper GI scheduled for Friday to see if the band has slipped. My question is, what if it hasn't slipped? My surgeon has emptied the band and I continue to throw up. So if it hasn't slipped does anyone know what will happen next for me? I have lost over 55 lbs and have a few more to go, but I don't feel like throwing up the rest of my weight... Any suggestions? I am currently on a liquid diet.
