Hello, I just had my surgery, sleeve gastrectomy. The frst week I lost 13 pound, and this is second week, and I have no losed anything. I am eating only 300 calorie a day. what is going on, am going to stay in this plateu forever.? I also exercise, walking on the treadmill. Has anyone else experienced this plateu?

I'm 2.5weeks post op from my Plication. I was so surprised about how easy the recovery was. I was up & walking the same day as surgery (Sat), released on Monday. Flew home to the east coast on Tuesday & by Weds I didn't even take anything for Pain. I'd highly recommend this procedure. The hospital was beautiful, very nice room with a DVD player, the TV got a few english language channels.

I was trying to decide between the same. I read on another board that someone had a problem with blood supply being cut off to a portion of the stomach due to sutures being too tight with the plication and this created a serious problem. I would also be interested in hearing other experiences with plication vs. vsg. Thanks!

Hello, my name is Naira. I am 43 years old (wow, the time is passing so fast). I am debating between plication and sleeve gastrectomy. I am just one step away of calling the doctor, paying my dowpayment and schedule the surgery. But I don't know which one to choose. I am so confused. the results of sleeve is great, but in case of leakage, the treatment is very hard. Plication is new and not enough
