    Banded Feb 15Th

I could eat bread and Pasta up to 5cc. It took me months to get there. Your probably not going to "feel" the restriction for a couple more fills yet. I would be easy with these 'cheat' days you been having and let your body continue to heal. Good luck with your journey.
  3. I love mine too. No regrets!

    Freaking Out

Hi. Dont freak out. Keep with the liquid/mushies your suppose to be on. Just because you can eat those things, you shouldnt. Your still healing. Yes you dont have restriction right now. Because you dont have much fluid in your band at the moment. Right now is all about healing and having your own will power to keep with the diet. The band is a tool. When you start getting fills then it will start working for you. But you have to have your own will power to make the best choices. Good luck to you.
  5. I just went through this and I tryed to just "let it got" and do the liquid thing and it just got worse. So bad that by the time I went in to have it looked at I hadnt eaten in 5 days and couldnt drink for 2. I had a Cat scan done befor they took all fluid out and my stomach had gone in threw the band some so nothing could come threw. I had all my fluid removed. I would never wanted to go through that again. Good luck.

    Calling all Military Spouses

I have tricare prime and hubby is active duty and I dont pay anything. I didnt have to pay for surgery or hospital stay, and I havent had to pay for fills either. I think that tricare is billed and then the surgeon either take what tricare pays them or charges you the diffrence. Tricare only allows so much. I think it all depends on the surgeon.

    Alert! Nsv alert!

Congradulations!!!!!!! Ive also walked the walk of shame at Knotts berry Farm in Cali. It was just one coaster but it was the one I really wanted to ride...lol. This past week Hubby and I were in Las Vegas and got on the coaster at NY NY and for once in my life I didnt worry about weight. It was a great feeling. I got to injoy myself and not have to worry about if they are going to ask me to get off. =)
