I have tried using my lapband card at resturants to see if they would honor it........well they didn't. So my question(Don't know if someone has asked this question before) Do you know any LB Friendly Resturants? If you do please post them.... 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

I am glad you found a location, afer reading about the first Dr. I almost lost my mind on the computer screen....talking to myself saying are they for real, no way they can't be. Maybe they are still brand new to the lap band all together.

I love Babe's Chicken, send me some...lol....I am licking fingers now,,,,I just hate they use milk in all of there veggies....I am lactose and tolerant....lol...but its still good. I just pay for it in the end...lol

Its not the gas that have your left side/shoulder hurting, it is your nerve sending a signal to your brain that your shoulder is hurting but it really your diaghram being pushed up to make room for the lapband. your body had to make room for a foreign object, so once everything adjust it will pass.....

I took off on Wednesday, was very tired that day. I took off to research schools for my son, but the tireness got the best of me.....i slept until time to pick him up. I went to the gym did some 15 mins of abs work(core) and 1 hour of zumba. I felt good and had the energy. Made it home and my son and I prep for the next day and the bed we went.....

Here are the images of the cards, one of them is the temp card and the other is the one sent in the mail. I think you should recieve on in the mail if you doctor gave you a temp card but if not you can register to recieve one in the mail.

Hey Congrat!!!!!! I probably was to nervous to feel anything.....I go back for a 2nd fill on August 17. I can not wait tio start droping more lbs myself...... I really wish I could lose about 10 to 15 more by my birthday October 6, I will be 30. I would love to be looking sexy around that time...lol..... Keep up the good work, and continue to encourage yourself...Its hard not to play into what you hear other people do or what they are not gettiing, but we don't know there full story....So keep the faith!!!!

OK, I made it to my appointment at 11:43. I know it was pushing it since I told you all my appointment was for 11:45. Well to my surprise upon arrival my appointment was really schedule for 11:15. I was in total shock. I went blank for a second in thought thinking were did I get 11:45 from. Well, she check to see had the worker left for lunch. Thank God they were still there. I went in nervous, just as if it was the day of the surgery. Got upon the table. They put the xray over me to find my port. Tah tah! ding ding ding....they found it instantly. So here comes the bad stuff, the pain. I asked about numbing it. She explained, why get poke twice when you can get poke once and be finish. I am still shaking like a leaf on a twig. But guess what I didn't even know when she started or finish. I didnt feel a thing other then the alcohol swab being rub on me and her hand. They tried to talk to me during the process. I wasn't hearing that...lol...to nervous thinking my talking would bring pain....I know, I am crazy, but that's just me...lol I got 4cc in a 10cc band. Literally, i did not feel or see the needle at all. My filler was GREAT!!!!! I hope she is the one to do it all the time. My appointment last a total of 5 minutes, including the EKG. I have lost a total of 12lbs. They would prefer for me to get to 159lbs by my bandevesary. I have bigger dreams, I am aiming for 135-140lbs. My original weight was 191 on my very first visit to the center. So that puts me at 179lbs now....... Its a start!!!!

1 fill = 1 poke I did not know I had gotten poked or filled. no numbing and I was fine. I was more afraid today than my surgery, but I promise. I felt nothing and I am not exaggerating. Plus My Office uses the flouro.....

I thought it was just me. I am not 3 months out, I am only 1 month out. I have never had gas like this in my life. I don't do the passing of it around my hubby, but since this surgery, I have been apologizing for my manners(passing of the gas). He don't mind, but its a thing that I would prefer to be alone when it happens. this feeling is so bad, sometimes I dont know if its gas or something else. Sorry if its to much information. I have tried my gasX too, but no relief. I will be checking in on your blog again to see what others posts.

I would like to go to some group get together. i am glaad I am hearding some of the crazy things people do and will tell about with pride. Congrat on your journey you are amazing......

1st FILLED:thumbup: I am ready. I will leave work at 11:00. hopefully there will be no traffic. I hope it don't take long. I am learning how to drink tea without sugar being added. This to is a process, since I was raise on southern sweet tea...lol..... But my mission is to fulfill my optimal goal and thats losing it and keeping it of..... will tune in after my procedure9my poke).... Have a wonderful Tuesday!!!!!!!

Me neither, I didn't get the Pop...lol...lol.... Congrat on your lost......we can do it.....I had my fill today. It all went well, nothing like I had plan it. I do need to go see my doctor because I think I have a stitch sticking through my skin.....

Please don't give in. You are trying to get to a pretty, fine, sexy liver size...lol.....I wanted to put a smile on your face.....are you able to eat a light meal for dinner. It will go great. find something to do to take your mind off food....experiment with different protein mixes...

Thank you all, I enjoy reading what everyone has to say. I know you all have heard it before, but I will say it again, This site with each of you here makes the LB a better way of living and coping with whatevers going on with a person. i am truly thankful for beautiful people search as yourselves..........

I go in tomorrow to have my 1st fill. I had my surgery June 21. I lost about 9 lbs, but I really believed I have gained it back. i don't eat much and I have never been one to eat alot. I am a grazer. If I am in the house all day, I tend to graze the kitchen cabinets or pantry.lol This is not good. So I am looking forward to getting a fill but I am so afraid of the needle. I hope there is no pain. I hope I get enough that will make me want to skip at least 1 or 2 meals. I get so hungry at times that I get headaches and stomach cramps. I try not to eat between meals and this is when those problems come in at. I will let you know how my fill appointment turn out. Oh, I am having a flouro(I hope I spelled this right) treatment, where they see me drinking the baruim under the xray.... So I will keep you posted on how it goes.

I had no saline added...on my follow up appointment he did tell me I could eat a couple of crackers to hold me over until my next meal...lol. but now saline was added. I will let you know how it goes.
