I am looking for advice regarding having the lap band surgery. I have been a avid softball/soccer player my entire life, I have always played sports, even while I was pregnant with both of my children. I was always a bigger girl, bigger busted, big legs, big behind....Even when I lost weight, I still had a larger bust and big legs...I lost about 60 pounds 5 years ago, dieting and exercising regularly, of course I didnt have a sit down job at the time, I was on my feet pretty much for the whole 11 hour shift.....I have gone back to a sit down job and gained back the 60 pounds and then some since.....I have tried diet pills, changing my diet, I still play sports and I just cannot lose weight.....I had a hysterectomy about 6 years ago and I was told then that I would have a harder time losing weight due to changes with my hormones and such, but I dont blame my gaining weight to that......I am very depressed with myself, I cannot even look at myself in the mirror without clothes on! I literally close my eyes if I am about to get in the shower so I dont see myself in the mirror....I want to lose this weight so that I can have a better life with my kids and make it easier for me to deal with myself and look at myself......Any stories or advice is GREATLY appreciated!!!
