  4. Keep the faith! I am six months out and my last fill put me at 7cc in a 10 cc band and it was the first time I felt what a restriction was like. Up until then I was experiencing exactly what your describing. I just had my 4th fill, now at 7.5 cc and this is what I believe the band is suppose to feel like. I am now unable to eat a full sandwhich no matter how much I want to (only half now). I am now begining to see a weight loss which I have impatiently been waiting for... I lost 22lbs presurgery and now I am only 14lbs under my surgery weight, but I am confident this is the begining of the help I have been waiting for. Hang in there and try and be patient, it's coming!
  5. I am looking for someone to help me exercise. I have a gym membership that is being unused. I can take a buddy for free. I find if I exercise with someone then I feel like i am being held accountable for showing up at the gym otherwise I just haven't been going. Once I am at the gym I am good. I love the feeling of exercising an being productive, It's just getting there and inside that I am struggling with. Anyone interested?

    Treadmill VS Elliptical

I have both but use the treadmill more often. The Elliptical is a great workout but I don't have the endurance to use it for any length of time for a good cardio workout. Sometimes I start on the elliptical and when I can't do any more I'll switch to the treadmill.

Thank you for replying! I do need to try exercising more. I also enjoy my carbs, but I am not eating as many as I was pre surgery. I definately have increased my protien intake.

  9. :confused:I am four months out from being banded. I lost 19lbs before my surgery but I have only lost 7lbs since my surgery four months later.... I have dropped from 18 pants to size 14(I am assuming most of this is from the weightloss presurgery) but the numbers on the scale are not budging now. In the last month I feel like I have leveled off with inches. I feel like I am eating healthy but I am not experiencing very much restriction. I have always been very active and always on the go. I have struggled with actual "exercise". I am scheduled for my 3rd fill next week. My band is currently filled with 7cc, doc has been adding 1cc at each fill. I wonder how much the average band fill is to feel a healthy restriction? I am loosing an enormous amount of hair, I am amazed I still have hair on my head.... I am also bruising very easily. I am unsure if this is related to the band or not. I am taking B12 injections monthly and eating my Flinstone Vitamins. I am scheduled to have routine bloodwork next month. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I am very fustrated and loosing motivation....:smile2:
