Hello I have been researching the Lap Band for three years now and have been saving up. at the same time I was hoping for a miracle andtried to lose the weight. I went to the gym and ate healthy 10 pound down and then got sick and did not go to the gym 15 pounds up. So finally I made the decision and I am to be bended on August 27, 2010. I am looking for support and researching as much as possible. I have found many helpful sites and am learned everything I can on the surgery. I ordered a book and think I am pretty well prepared. I have told my friend of my decision and most are supportive. I have terrible back, leg and ankle pains that keep me up all night. I am hoping to wake up one day and feel great. I understand it is a lot of hard work and I am ready for a life change. One of my friends reaction was crying and saying she would walk with me. I told her I have been talking and researching for three years and answered all of her questions on her concerns for me. She then responded I guess you have done your research, I love you and want you to feel great.
