Thank you for answering me back, I would love to hear about your appointment with the Dr, please keep me informed. DO you have a surgery date yet? I am having a real hard time trying to figure out if I want the sleeve or the plication, I am going crazy on trying to figure it out!!! I like the plication cause there is less complications but I dont know how the weight loss will pan out, and I like the sleeve but im afraid of the possible complications, but I like the way you loose the weight, Geeeze!! I keep reading all that I can find on both surgeries, but there is not alot on plication surgery, darn it! Well keep me posted please Thanks, Lisa~

I am so sorry to hear that you had a ruff time. How long ago was your surgery? I am curious who was your doctor if you dont mind me asking? Do you know why you had such a hard time? My BMI is 41 also and I was thinking about the plication or the sleeve. Do you have any sugestions for me? Lisa

Hi there, I am asking all the sleevers here if you can answer some of my questions, I have decided to go with the sleeve instead of the plication, well im 80% sure and I was wondering, will you all be able to drink any carbonated drinks down the line? Also how long is the healing process?? I need to know so I can go back to work. I am worried about leaks has anyone had a leak or is that like something really rare that happens? I was wondering, can you all tell me if you had your surgeries with Dr Rodrgiuez, and also a friend of mine wanted me to ask, she is a smoker and was wondering if anyone new anything about her getting the surgery when she is a smoker???

Well that is really good that she is doing well. So are you going to get the sleeve also? Are you going to Dr Rod as well? I thought I had my mind made up on the plication surgery but I keep hearing that the sleeve you can loose weight fast and also there is not alot of people that has had the plication for more than a few months. But again I am very scared of the leaks and the complications you can have with the sleeve. So I am having a difficult time trying to figure out what surgery I will do. Good luck on your surgery! Dr Watkins, I was wanting to ask you if the Dr uses a 32 bougie and 2-0 silk property of redusing fibrosis stitches, is this the correct things to use? Also does the surgery inflame the gall stones?? Thanks,Lisa

Dr Watkins, If the bougie that they are using is size 32 and they are using 2-0 silk stitches, is that the correct stuff for the plication??? Also does the surgery make the gall stones inflamed??

Hi Sarah, I was wondering who did your surgery?? I don't know how to read kilograms, maybe, if you dont mind you can explain them to me?? I havent got my surgery yet bu I just got thru talking to someone about it and they are 2 months out and she said that she lost 1 lb a day the 1st month and then 1/2 a day on the 2nd month so it may be different from person to person, im not to sure.
