Hi mike in from kwinana, I was banded 24 June and have lost 27kgs so far! Hoping to get down to 35kgs lost by the end of this year! -
Got a new work shirt this morning coz the other one started to look like a dress! So now I'm 2xl instead of 3xl and the 2xl is still a bit baggy! :smile2:

Oh dear! I remember those pains! But like others have said, walking seriously helps. I used to walk at night, 1 coz I was suffering head aches too and there was no light at night, and 2 because its so much cooler at night! Just get up and get moving and the gas will pass! Quite literally! Haha! Good luck! -

I was banded June 24, I've healed well, lost 30 pounds and eat reasonably well. The thing is this morning I woke up with this ACHE where my port is. Hurts all the time and hurts more if I cough. So my question is, should I go to the hospital or tough it out? Thanks in advance for any replies!

Hi suzie! im doing alright... just struggling to find time to get some REAL food into me... busy with tafe and work im finding myself living off tuna and protein shakes!!!
i was banded on the 24/06 so just over a month... ive lost 9.5 kgs so far... Dr Stephen Watson was my surgeon but Dr Bowater does my fills. any other questions... let me know

I'm feeling the same thing too and I am not on the next phase nor did I cheat or push myself! It feels like I've swallowed a pill or a hair and its stuck in my throat! Oh and I've also been banded for 2 weeks, so maybe it is normal? All the best with your band! -

I only hurt for about 3 days and 5 days after surgery went back to work, with the help of some mild painkillers of coarse! It depends on the person! Just like every other aspect of the band!
