    Stomach pain after eating

sometimes i do. I just figured i ate to much or too fast.
  3. I threw up last Sunday. I was very hungry and because what i ate was soft (grits and chicken liver w/gravy) and did not chew the meat very well it came back up. But I was too scared to eat anymore. I ate a few hours later and was alright. i was very nervous about eating, so i chewed my food very well.

1st Fill - No Restriction, HELP

i had a fill of 2.5 on 11/9 and i have some restriction. i go back on the 11/30 for another fill. The only problem is sometimes i feel restriction and sometimes i don't. i think it has a lot to do with how i eat. My portions are a lot smaller. How do i tell if i need another fill?

    Is This Normal?

that was a good question, i always wondered what the burp meant. i was starting to realize burping meant i was full, but most times i have already stopped eating.

    Day 9, gaining....

That same thing happened to me. After my 3 week liquid diet I went straight to regular food. No mushies. I started gaining all my weight back and then I plateaued for a month. This week I got on the scale and lost the 6 lbs. I guess it is our bodies adjusting to the surgery. My dr's office told me to take Colace. I had my surgery 9/22 and still get constipated. Colace and I are very good friends now. It really works.

    making ahead of time

I freeze it. Not sure if it looses anything. It tasted the same. It was like eating an icee, I had to use a spoon.

    Cajun Gal

You should be able to continue eating good food. It will just be in smaller portions. I see a lot of people are eating a cup full of food. My nutitrionist says eat your protein (meat) and then vegetables.

    First Adjustment

Thanks for that advice. I have to remember to take small bites and chew, chew.
  17. I just had my first adjustment this a.m. My surgery was on 9/22/10 and I was starting to get hungry before 3 hrs. The needle hurt a little. Then he used the flourscopy to watch the barium solution go down, he did slow down after he injected 2.5 saline. I return for the 2nd adjustment in 3 weeks. I was told only liquids today, eat tomorrow and if i have a problem go back to liquids, then try and eat the next day if still a problem call him. So now what should I expect? Should I start eating smaller portions automatically or will my stomach tell me when to stop eating.

    my scale lied

yes i noticed that too. my dr's scale is 4 or 5 lbs. difference. i have just been recording both weights. I really hate that. I had my first adjustment and the dr. didn't even put me on the scale.

    Drinking Alcohol After Being Banded?

I went out on the weekend and had 2 glasses of white wine, but i kept adding ice to it. I had my surgery 5 weeks ago. I felt fine.
  23. you should also have another sleep study test. your cpap levels probably changed. we had this discussion in our support group class. and everyone that was using it came off of the cpap machine once they started losing weight.
