  1. I was banded back in June of this year and I couldn't be happier. From August until now, I haven't been exercising and eating the way that I should, since that time in August I have only lost 6lbs. I know I should have lost more. I just fell back into my old habits of snacking on the wrong things during the day and not exercising. I have recommited myself and I am happy. I only weigh myself once a week, but I have gone from a size 24 at 250lbs to a loose 18 at 213.

Make sure that you get your protein in everyday, (don't want your hair to start shedding) and for once put yourself first. I was fortunate that my husband also had the surgery the week before I did, and he has gone from 312lbs to 250 now. He's lost 62lbs and he doesn't work out at all. He has a physical job, but he looks great.

My scars are very small. The largest one is about 1 1/2 to to two inches long. The rest (4 of them) are less than half an inch in size.
