Hair loss with the lap band.

I know when I got banded and the weight came off, all of my pubic hair fell out. Here I am a well-endowed man swinging like a 8 year old boy - clean as a whistle. Wife loved it, thought it was a turn on, which made her recipricate!!!! Brazilian waxed! Since then we just keep that area shaved. Hope all your weight loss goals come true!

    Is This Normal?

A lot of you probably have experience with this. So, I would appreciate any advice or help you can provide. I got banded a while back Dec. 2008 and have lost over 100lbs since then. I am in my mid 40's. I expected my skin would not be as tight because of my age and would have to have surgery to remove that disgusting skin flab that some people get when they loose a lot of weight. I guess I am one of the lucky ones since I am working on a pretty decent 6-pack now. Being fat is obviously disgusting enough but skin flab would be unbearably disgusting so I am sooooo thankful I wont have to deal with it!!!!! I guess I am asking is is it normal for a guy in mid 40's that has lost over 100lbs in a year and a half not to have to worry about that repulsive excess skin flab? Hung

    I'm Sorry

Hi all, Just wanted to apologize. Apparently, my post: '3" inches since surgery!!!!' offended some people. My intention was not to offend but to inform and motivate. For men, I thought knowing that for every 35 pounds you lose, you gain an inch in your manhood. For women, I thought that would make you encourage your spouses even more knowing that they would be able to please you more. My bad. I didnt mean anything offensive. I guess I may be in the minority, since I am rather gifted to begin with in that area , but just assumed it would be motivational. Again, my deepest (no pun intended) apolgies to you. :grouphug:

    What Should I do?

Sounds like you haven't broken your emotional reliance on food. Like quiting smoking, the hardest part of quitting the addiction is the psycological/emotional aspect of it. Food is your enemy, not your lover!
