I've struggle with my weight and emotional eating since high school. Not a day would go by that I would not obsess or think about the fact that I was overweight and very unhappy. Post op 14 months, I am much happier. I had friends and family members tell me, don't do it.. I don't think you should have the surgery. I'm so glad I didn't listen. WLS has changed my life. I am the happiest I have ever been.
