I am trying to decide the same thing... I was sure until I heard about the spitting? how common are erosions, golf balls? what is that, pb? what about relux, is it common? I can live the way I am but have to admitt I feel ashamed the I have to go to these length to have a normal life... do alot of people have to get them replaced. Lori

hi deep 82, flights to san diego are cheap right now, I was wondering if the flouro thing was expensive there, because if not it seems its cheaper to go back rather than pay these outragious fees to greedy drs. just wonderin... haven't been banded yet, planning on this early dec with ortiz but in Indiana they won't do it that I know of so I have been concerned about what to do also.

does anyone know of a dr. who will do fills in this area, i haven't been able to find one

I asked Dr. ortiz why so many were spitting, he said that they bands were way to tight and they needed to see their dr. asap. I really like chicken ... do you have to spit cuz your full or plugged up or what... i am getting ready for surgery and this scares me. is this reaaly a way of life? please let know whatelse i don't hear from the dr. does anyone regret being banded?

Dr. ortez is one of the Dr.'s i am leaning towards for my band, are fills expensive with him? I will be flying from Indiana

I am wanting to get banded asap, my insurance won't cover anything at all. I have been reseaching and have decided to go to mexico. I don't know which Dr. to go with, any advice or warnings of who and who not to contact? I am very nervous but excited to start my journey.
